Can I see a therapist online in Washington?

Yes. I’m licensed in Washington and I see clients anywhere in the state by secure video. There’s no office to drive to and no waiting room. What matters legally is that you’re physically located in Washington at the time of our session, not where you grew up or where your insurance is from.

Where in Washington do you work with people?

Statewide. That includes Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Tacoma, Olympia, Spokane, Vancouver, Bellingham, Everett, and the Tri-Cities, and just as much the parts of the state where the nearest therapist taking new clients is a long drive and a longer waitlist. Telehealth is often what makes the difference between those two things.

What does it cost, and do you take insurance in Washington?

Washington sessions are private pay at $250 for a 50-minute session. I don’t bill insurance in Washington. I can provide a superbill, an itemized receipt with the codes an insurer needs, which you can submit to your plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether they reimburse, and how much, is your insurer’s decision.

A limited number of sliding-scale spots are available. If cost is the thing standing between you and starting, say so and we’ll talk about it.

What does private pay actually mean for you?

Practically: no prior authorizations, no cap on how many sessions you’re allowed, and no diagnosis submitted to an insurer to justify that you’re in therapy. Decisions about your care stay between the two of us. The trade-off is real: the fee comes out of pocket, which is what the superbill and the sliding-scale spots are there for.

What do I need to get started?

A device with a camera, a reasonably steady internet connection, and somewhere you can talk without being overheard. Plenty of people take sessions from a parked car or a spare room; it works fine. We start with a free 15-minute consultation, and if it feels like a fit we go from there.

What do you help with?

I work with adults on anxiety, depression, burnout and work stress, relationships and dating, ADHD, autism, and life transitions, including layoffs and job loss and the financial anxiety that often comes with them. I also work with people in tech. I see individuals one to one.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real life. We’ll work at a pace that feels supportive, focusing both on understanding what’s happening and on building strategies you can actually use week to week.

All services are provided via secure telehealth. I work with adults located in California, Florida, and Washington.

Insurance accepted in California and Florida; Washington is private pay.
