Privacy Policy
Effective August 23, 2026. Last updated August 23, 2026.
This policy explains what this website collects and what I do with it. It applies to kindredmentalhealth.com. Two related notices cover different ground: Washington residents should also read my Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, and if you become a client, the health information I keep about your care is governed by HIPAA and described in my Notice of Privacy Practices.
What this site collects
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Information you give me | Name, email address, the state you are in, and the contents of any message you send through the contact form or by email. |
| Information collected automatically | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and analytics cookie identifiers. |
Why I collect it
- To answer your message and, if it is a fit, to schedule a consultation.
- To confirm which state you are in, since I can only work with people located in California, Florida, or Washington.
- To understand which pages are useful and keep the site working.
I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it with advertisers. I do not use it to target ads to you anywhere.
Third parties that may receive information
- Form processing. Contact form submissions are transmitted and stored by my form vendor so the message reaches me.
- Website analytics and tag management. Page views and analytics identifiers are processed by my analytics vendor.
- Professional directory badge. A verification script from a professional directory runs in the footer of each page, which means that directory receives a request from your browser when you load a page.
- Content delivery and fonts. Stylesheets and fonts load from third-party content delivery networks, which receive your IP address as part of serving those files.
The third parties that currently receive data through this site are Formspree (form processing), Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts, Psychology Today (directory badge), jsDelivr (content delivery), and Headway (insurance billing and scheduling).
Third-party tracking across other sites
California law requires me to tell you whether third parties may collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site. Yes - they may. The analytics and badge scripts described above are operated by third parties who may set cookies or receive identifiers capable of recognizing a browser across sites. I do not control what those companies do with that information beyond the services they provide to me, and I encourage you to read their own privacy policies.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry consensus on how to interpret it. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. You can limit tracking by blocking cookies and scripts in your browser, or by using a browser extension that blocks them.
Reviewing or changing your information
Email me at kamronpoosti@kindredmentalhealth.com and I will tell you what I hold from your website inquiry, correct it, or delete it. If you are a client, your clinical record is handled under HIPAA and the retention rules described in my Notice of Privacy Practices, not under this policy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I will post the revised version here and update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted in a short summary at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
